Marcy Rose
President
Marcy spends a good amount of her free time as a volunteer with Family Court and often brings her therapy dog, Nicky to see the children on her cases. Guardian ad Litem volunteers represent the children’s best interest during the court cases. The children are in the court system due to no fault of their own, but due to neglect, abuse or abandonment. I visit the kids regularly and report to the court how the kids are doing on a human level opposed to just being a name on a document. It was apparent at these regular visits that there was a void to be filled financially that was not being addressed by the state directly or by other organizations in the time frame needed. This was the reason for Ride Life Cares Inc.(dba Trike Life Cares Inc.)
Since October 2020, Marcy has been an avid recumbent Triker who would often bring her Shih Tzu Marley to share the ride along many of central Florida’s rails to trails. It was the combination of both of her interests that created Trike Life Cares with the help of some talented people. Because of their help it has evolved into Ride Life Cares Inc.
Along with working full time at a multinational technology company, Marcy is completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, She is planning to continue her education with a Masters in Social Work upon graduation. But in the mean time, she also chauffeurs Nicky to do visits through Vitas Hospice.
“Nicky” is registered and insured through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs.
